A Lioness has left us.
She has left her body and joined with the all eternal.
She has left us stories and poems – she has left us righteous actions and love, she has left us prayers and smiles. She has left a space and given us an invitation and instructions to step inside and be as powerful as we ever thought she was.
Thank you Mama Maya Angelou, for being a mother to me for showing me an example of how to walk as a woman upon this earth.
May you rest well and may we all endeavor to fill the space you made for us.
Rest in peace, good servant of God, good mother of us all.
