President Obama s message to Central American parents , reeks of privilege.
Yes mr Obama, it is appallingly dangerous for these parents to send their children on the peril filled journey on the top of trains and across uncertain terrain to get in to this country. The child must survive abuse, and possibly face death.
Obama lectures like these are ignorant uncaring parents….
Nothing could be further than the truth.
If we take a knowledgable look at what is taking place in these countries now, we realize how brave these parents are. They are like Moses ‘ momma ,sending a beloved child down the river in a basket praying that they will find safety and life in their new destination. These parents know that their child is in equal or WORSE danger sitting on their front porch – than mAking that insanely dangerous journey .
This is the problem . These parents are using their very last resort as a parent – as they are unable to stop the rampant crime and death in their community – they place their sometimes very very young children on the top of a train, and pray to God that their young one survives and finds safety. I cannot imagine the soul searing pain these families feel.
And I am furious, at any attempt to shame this tortured choice.
Why not issue lectures to the crime lords and corrupt governments of these counties, mr Obama ??? That’s where the responsibility lies.. Oh, but if we did that we , this country would need to take responsibility for the chronic meddling that this country has done in Central American which probably has quite a hand in unsettling that region into the point that it is today …
And so the president , stands with no integrity, lecturing the canaries as they attempt to save their young from the depths of the coal mine.
Shame!
