Being triggered is a painful thing. A present day event shoots you to a moment in the past. A moment where one was helpless, full of pain , feeling small and abandoned.
The challenge is remembering that the past is in the past and that now in the present – I am whole brave free powerful honorable kind worthy and wonderful. (as I also actually was as well in the past)
I move past my triggers into the reality of my life.
